Our homes, past and present, our summer cottages and retreats, our childhood and family homes, even the places where we work can hold great meaning in our lives. We decorate and redecorate our spaces, renovate and re-arrange cottages, and spend untold hours designing our work spaces - and working in them! "Homescapes" drawings are a delightful way of honoring the places that we hold dear and that add meaning to our lives. I use your photographs and snapshots of your place as visual references for these drawings. From them I create a detailed colored rendering. To do this, I use watercolor color pencils (for color wash and line areas) combined with fine line pen and ink on cold press illustration board to create a finely detailed drawing for you. The finished piece is mounted on acid free backer and matted with a neutral complimentary mat. The image size is approximately 11" x 15" - matted up to a 18" x 22" finished size. "Homescapes" make great gifts for any number of special events - birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, congratulations, or something special just for you! Cost for each "Homescapes" is $175.00.
