| I love vintage linens- its as simple as that... And using them in a creative way seemed to be a natural thing to do... Crafting "Very Vintage" decorative pillow covers is the end result of that creative urge. I play up the inherent softness of texture and color that speaks to me of days gone by, of things handmade and cherished even as they were used in daily lives. I've incorporated fabric painted images for focal points and added vintage buttons, handmade laces and edgings, perhaps bits of embroidery as accents.
